My GPZ is on its last legs I think and its going down hill. Rather than keep on spending money fixing it i'd rather buy another bike.

Found this SV650 and it seems a little too good to be true?

Rang the guy up and it has some service history, few scuffs here and there. MOT runs out july Tax runs out march.

Is that the right sorta price?

Other than inspection is there anyway I can check if it has been damaged before?

A HPI check will tell you if it's listed on the insurance database.

How do HPI checks work? Is it through a website? If so which one?


Seems cheaper than it should be, I spoke to the guy on the phone and he wants 1600.

Its got a rear hugger, 2 new tyres, leo vince exhaust, different screen, only 15K miles, its restricted which would cost another 200.

Doesn't seem right for some reason :S

Yeah I agree with mike, I don't think there's too much wrong with the price, it's got a good low mileage for its age but nothing out of the ordinary. Remember the economic climate as well, people aren't gonna be expecting too much for their stuff

I reckon you could knock a few 10 quid notes off the price and still get a quick sale. Make sure to give it a good look over though

Thats fairly pricey considering the age of the bike.But if you like it and can consider the fact its 33bhp restricted ,then maybe its worth a second look.
