anyone had or ridden one of these?
i know theyre not gonna inspire me with passion lol but are they a decent bike?
and do they have the same engine as the 600 bandit?

Hi
don't think it has the same lump as the bandit but they go well for there size and if memory servs the RF6 has close to 100bhp insurance is cheep for them as well

someone local to me has one for sale,im thinking this maybe a good first bike,was thinking of a bandit but theyre a bit dull with no fairings etc.

Erm, nope. Dean had an RF400. Same size/shape as the 600 but with less go.

I have had a RF600 about a month. Lovely bike, insurance isnt bad; £450 TPFT (i am 20). I believe engine is basedd on old GSX600. They changed carbs for the 95 model and some do suffer a flat spot upto about 4000RPM. Also rear shocks are a bit senstive and unsettle bike's handling. Apart from that, a beautiful bike
You even get a glove box to put a packet of crisps and a pack of fags in...........now how many bikes can you say that for?
Low mileage 94 for a grand; get down the bank.

Everyone I've spoken to who's had one has rated them quite highly.
