Just a reminder, the whole point of the 'friends' system on BCF was that you could give your details, like mobile and home numbers, to people you trusted.

If you ever ride with other people, it is quite important that they have your contact details just in case, so fill the damn thing in!

Tbh I only put my mobile number in my profile about a week ago. But if people are going out to meets, giving contact info is a good idea. I thought that Bendy's idea of listing next of kin in the profile bit was a good one, if slightly sinister.

Sinister, yeah. But certainly in my case, nobody would know how to find my folks if something bad happened. Hence I stuck a number in my profile.

Personally I'd prefer my mum wasn't contacted if something nasty happened to me. She'll find out in the end so might as well save some worry.

When I first met G I thought he was gay. Particularly seeing as he was tallish, bald, wearing leather, and wearing a T shirt that said "Please do not poke the straight people" or similar.

Then some time later I saw his flat. Definately not gay living there.
