Alright, I'm on fire today, must be the 'working from home thing'. Very Happy

The BCF curse is well known, so...

Who's the first BCF member you saw bin their bike?

First BCF boi I saw stack it was Dusty. We were all going to minimoto in 2 cars, and even though it was pissing with rain (and I'm pretty sure there was space in one of the cars) Alex decided he was riding his R6 out to the Karting place.

This place was in the middle of an old airfield, greasy as a greasy thing with all the rain and the inevitable happened. Didn't notice until the Kev suddenly went sideways and slammed on the brakes as he realised the R6 was now pointing in our direction instead of up the road.

We scraped him up off the road and went the final 500 yards or so to the karting place (yes, it was that close) only to find that there was no minimoto on that night anyway. Alex got a prodding and it was concluded that he'd broken his collarbone. So G borrows various bits of bike kit from people and slithers the R6 home while Vicky takes Alex to A&E.

Didn't realise at the time that falling off on BCF outings was such a common occurrance. Mr. Green

I don't think I've actually seen a BCF member bin it, but on the way up to Lincoln I saw the keith/FZR/potato-field interaction that was like a crash... only more entertaining Very Happy

Actually you were third. Zimma spanked it on the roundabout coming back from Santa Pod trying to get his knee down on a cold wet road with about 2psi in his tyres.

Then you binned it outside Sid Morram's while trying to impress small children. Very Happy

I saw Kornel crash his RVF on the way to Chelsea Bridge a couple
of years back. It was really bad as it looked like he was going to
be hit by an oncoming car.

haven't seen a member actually bin it but dean came damn close on the way home from BdB last year, it absolutely pissed it down on the way back. Me, dean, M and stew all got soaked so stopped at some services so stew and M could change visors and hoped it would stop while we had some coffee.

Realised it wasn't going to stop so set off again, as we were coming out of the services dean put the power down a little too early and had one of the biggest fishtails i've seen, I saw the back wheel start to move and just thought 'shit, he's not getting out of this'.

Luckily he proved me wrong. Smile

There was space in one of the cars but no one told me until after I'd put my leathers on. Razz Didn't realise quite how much it was raining. Confused

The first crash I saw was Luke at Snetterton -

Laughing

Didn't realise it was him at the time. Have seen G crash a few times too.

Hi

First one I saw was, err, probably me going into a potato field.

Mike inconsideratly dropped his bike on the track at the other side of the circuit so that we couldn't see it.

Shall I. Err. OK them. How did you avoid seeing yourself crash?

All the best

Wasn't a crash as such, I remember shaun pushing his bike around the back of a friends house and hearing a big bang. I turned to look at him standing in front of the ZXR on its side. Laughing All he did was look at me and say "pick us that up Jay" and walked off. Laughing Silly boy. Rolling Eyes

To be fair I'd had a few and was trying to get it around a friends dodgy back garden which was full of ditches and bricks, plus that was the saturday I put the deposit down on the GSXR so I didn't care, felt it going away from me and just thought oh well never mind.

Gravel car park, newly purchased CG, bit too much throttle, bit too much front brake. How he managed to raise a cloud of sparks that big I'll never know Thumbs Up Cool
