Right just thought I better post a hello to all before I start my essay...Thumbs Up

I have an aim and that is to trade and trade until I see a reason to stop.
Called the bigger and better game.

Basically what it involves is me starting off with something small which I open to offers of a swap.

The swap for example could be a pair of earplugs for a balaclava which then could be swapped for a Tin of ACF50 for a tyre, for a CDI unit blah blah blah and then it goes on and on...

I am to get something which I could potentially ride when I am 17.
I know its a pretty big target but thought I would give it a go anyway and see how it turns out.

If I am successful it will be used by me and when the time comes to selling if it is ever sold and is of any worth the money will be going towards a good cause.
Just thought I would add this in case any body thought that I was only doing this to flog whatever I end up with to make some cash.

Just thought it would be interesting to see how far this goes.

Ideally the swaps would need to be in the South west as I am in Torbay although some traveling could be involved...

The first thing that I have to swap is not a paperclip [this is the item that normally starts the whole thing] but a Piaggio NRG scooter with an extra wheel, tyres and disk...as it is being kept to the bike side of things.
It has no logbook is a non runner, though have been told the engine did turn over haven't tried it though so may be a load of lies, the fairing is in rough condition
As a whole the bike is not completely assembled but everything is there.
Could be ideal for someone who needs any parts or is after a project.
You would need to collect from Torquay in Devon with an Estate car/van/trailer/wheelbarrow etc...

If you are interested in anything I am offering then just post up what you would like to swap it with.

Could work out well for all involved as something being offered may just be what you have been after and may have something collecting dust in the garage to swap it with.

Thanks!
Chloe x

The PB thing seemed a bit too convenient to me. And they didn't include any of the extra charges, petrol, money spent tarting the bike up a bit, selling fees ect

Try finding an fzr thou like they did for £150, or a bandit that you can make an easy £400 on. Not impossible but not the walk in the park they made it look (then threw in a few fake trouble moments as journalistic licence a la Top Gear).

Why not sell the NRG as spares/repairs or break it if you know how on eBay, then spend the proceeds on something a little better, then sell that for more, then spend the proceeds on something a little better?

Won't be long until you have a CG125 Thumbs Up

Have already got a geared 50 which is a runner and am looking to get a bigger capacity bike when I am 17 with gears so unfortunately the NRG does not fit the bill.
I took the ped off a friend who needed the space, nobody will be knocking on any doors lol.
