hi

been interested in a j1 kwak for a while now but an accident damaged g2 has crept up for considerably less. My questions are:

are the models drastically different expect cosmetically?

will the front double light unit fit the g2 or will the entire surround fit?

any other advice feel free

muchos love

Cool

g2 and j1 are the same bikes under the plastics altough to put the j1 fairing on you also have to change the clocks and fairing support iirc

ah ok well that might just be a good thing because the clocks on the g2 are smashed anyway so new clocks are needed so possibly a who entire front of the j1 should fit a g2?

Google MCN Ninjas mate, they're ninja mad over there and will be able to answer your question for sure. Plenty of G models around with the J front fairing unit so I presume it's not too difficult to change.

Yup, head over to www.mcnninjas.co.uk

IIRC, you need the top faring, headlights, and the air ducting.

The other changes are minor suspension mods, fork internals and rear shock along with one or two wee engine/gearbox tweaks
