Hi,

There might already be a thread on the Dragon Rally in the Wales section but as I can't access that I'll post here ... are any hardy BCFers planning to go this year?

I haven't been before but it always sounds like fun (yes really) so am going to brave it Very Happy

im looking at attending the dragon rally this year with a few friends, a colleague has done it a few times. If you've ever done the English or the Scottish rally, you should be ok as its not as long or tiresome. So ive been told.
Did the English rally last year and thoroughly enjoyed.

You'll have a job, it's already happened, weather wasn't exactly ideal.

Depends what you consider ideal. Wink If you mean that it wasn't wet and snowy enough compared to Dragons of old (I've only read about them of course) then I agree as the weather was actually quite pleasant - bloody cold though. A lot of snow on the ground through Snowdonia but the race circuit on Anglesey where the rally was held was snow and rain free on the Saturday. Compared to what most of the country was suffering at the time I think North Wales got off lightly.

Had a great time, would probably do it again. If anyone plans to go next year, recommend you get a ticket in advance, check the Conwy MCC website late November.
