I'm effin livid with the little b#stards, they broke the steering lock and then decided they wouldn't take it cus the wheels don't go round when you have a disk lock on!!!!!!!! so they left it on the floor. It's nothing special just a yami SR125 for getting back n forth to work on. But it's the inconvenience... trawling through ebay to find locks and handlebars and top yoke cus their bent out of shape. Evil or Very Mad

wouldnt be worth the loss in no claims for smaller parts, anything over about 7-800 quid may be worth it IMO

Get a chain on to it, much better visual deterrent than a disc lock to the opportunist thief. Thumbs Up

I had a Africa Twin with lock, chain and disc lock, bastards still did the ignition and steering lock first then left the bike.

Nope, not a visual enough deterrent, all that will happen is they will try to roll the bike away, the alarm will sound and they will drop it and run off. Leaving the owner with bent this and that, scratches, cracked fairing, etc.

With a big chain they won't even try to move it and go for an easier target instead.

they then encountered an enraged rough collie and alsation..
