It would be nice if Stephen could have fairly frequent visits to keep him sane (presuming an 18 year old with a TL1000R is considered sane Neutral).
If anyone is going to visit him, could you leave a post on this thread, then I or another mod will amend the details onto here so others can plan their visits.

Now replaced with something a bit more swanky:
<iframe src="https://cheese.blackholehosting.com/~stescalendar.giffould.com/month.php?date=20040523" width="100%" height="600"></iframe>

Anyone can add to it, so feel free, give me a shout if you've want anything changed and I'll move it around.

Should be up for Saturday and Sunday, then I'll do a couple in the week, depending on when other folks are going.

North Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust
Aldermaston Road
Basingstoke
Hampshire
RG24 9NA

A multimap link is here and detailed directions here. There are signs for miles around pointing to the hospital, so you really can't miss it. Nearest motorway junction is Junction 6 of the M3 from which it's about a 5 minute ride following the big red signs.

Ste is on Ward F3, the stroke unit with all the old codgers. You'll need to take the main hospital lift to get up there and ask for him at the nurse's station on the ward.

Kawasaki reliability.

G/Ste/McJam's ZX6R - Clutch exploded, taking out the engine. Serious frame damage.

Craigs ZX6R - Engine threw a rod, so destroyed it. Frame had a huge crack and had to be replaced.

That's a bit unfair. G's ZX6 had probably seen more one-wheeled action than the average unicycle when the clutch basket went. And how can you blame the frame for reliability Confused If you wrap a car round a lampost does it make it unreliable?

I don't think I'll have enough time to visit Ste today. I'll be sure to come during the week (I'll confirm when later).

Is there bike parking at the hospital or do you just park in a car space and pay?

Danny, there appears to be a little bit where bikes were parked today near the main entrance, rather than up in the main carpark.

Incidentally, the 'pay and display' doesn't seem to be terribly enforced - first offence gets you a 'don't do this again' bit of paper under your wiper rather than a wheelclamp (saw one on another car and we had no change anyway) so I can't see them bothering too much about bikes really.

Additional: Parked all the bikes in the P&D today no hassle, just stick them in a corner. Luke says he spoke to an attendent who said that there was no point paying cos of ticket theft.

Oh yea, we donated the old sunglasses you left in the car to Ste to help him avoid the bright lights etc..... they actually suited his wheel-chaired appearance quite well Smile.
