CBR600 add-on recommendations

I've just purchased a Y-reg CBR 600 today & was wondering if you lot could point me in the right direction regarding some add-ons for it & also where I can get said add-ons from?

Any good websites/shops?

Well, my 2p would say that if you only just got the bike, there's no point in looking at performance tweaks yet. I'm assuming it's an upgrade from what you had before, so why not just enjoy it as it is for a while, then you can look at making any changes.

Make sure it's got some good tyres on it though, worth more than any minute horsepower increase you'll squeeze out with tweaks.

Tarty stuff, I don't generally go there. Took me a year to bother changing the huge indicators. Laughing

Try Ebay. There's a lot of them out there, so there's generally a lot of people selling bits to fit.

The ones I replaced them with aren't exactly minute. But the standard ones are IMMENSE.

I think the 1st investment might be a double-bubble & as you said Bendy I'll probably leave the tweaks until later.

I think the screen might be a good investment just for better riding conditions as I'll be commuting on it to work each day,weather depending!

Tall people wouldn't be able to duck under the standard screen & seen as I'm over 6ft tall it might be a good idea.

Do they do a quadruple-bubble for fat people? Razz

Only a couple of things I would suggest really, the screen as people have said, crash bungs as Bendy suggested, some decent tyres and lastly a nice race can because they just sound so nice.

Presuming you've been riding for a bit.

A trackday.

Will put a whole new perspective on your riding and probably make you realise you and your bike can do a whole load more than you realised... a whole load cheaper than getting the bike sorted.

IMO, making you a faster rider will also make your bike look better.... when you shoot past the motrax-cabinet adorned bikes Smile

Right,so in no particular order I'm going to get:-

R&G Crash mushrooms.

Double bubble screen. (Unsure of colour!)

Cleaning kit! (Nearly forgot about that. Embarassed

)
