What do you guys like when you have a curry?

I'm a madras lover.

I have yet to taste a vindaloo that has any flavour.

I'm with you on lovely smelling basmati rice, and Naan, but really you think veggie curries are better?

Why? don't you eat meat on other occasions?

See how unadventurous I am with food the only curry I know is the one in the chinese or the one when I was in high school with the raisins in it, why did they put raisins in the curry? where they even raisins as we discussed in English class one day they may actually be dead flies. Fat flies. Thinking

Don't get me wrong, I eat curry and have been to plenty of restaurants to form an opinion.

But it just tastes the same to me. All slop. Does absolutely nothing for me. Such a shame. Sad !!!

Hot Dopiaza with a peshwari naan.

Made my own curry last night, think it classes as a curry anyway, tomatoes, corriander, cream, garlic, onions, peppers and a fair few chillies, was proper nice if a little too hot Embarassed

My usuals are Lamb Dhansak or Chicken Pathia, have had a couple of nice Jalfrezi's recently though, all served with rice, chips and naan. I just wish I wasn't restricted to plain or garlic/coriander naans (now on a wheat free diet).

Homemade chicken jalfrezi-ish thing (but with potatoes in and lots of green chillis), rice and homemade chapatis Drooling, hand prepared by my own Indian chef Wink

Plus plenty of poppudums, onion bhajis, mint yogurt, mango chutney and cold beer on the side. Cool Om nom nom nom

Jalfrezi if I am eating out.

Tikki Masala usually though, not too hot and has an abundance of flavour.
