 |
|
Couple of questions, I'm hoping to do my A2 within a couple of months, and will obviously be restricted to 33bhp.
Will I be able to even do a trackday with this license?
Will the bike have to be restricted if I do?
If it doesn't, my bike only had 92bhp in 1982 and weighs as much as the moon. Will I just get in the way of everyone?

Dis-regard point C, dont worry about it.
A) yes. Most tracks bar the MSV (Motorsport Vision - Cadwell, Snetterton, Oulton and Brands Hatch) will let you do a trackday, half the time they wont check your license unless you look suspicious or very young.
B) If it is a large trackday, they'll glance that you have pink, note you down and give you a band. Dont worry about them looking out for if you have 33bhp, cos they wont even check, unless its a small trackday with hardly anyone on it (very unlikely).
I did two trackdays (one at Rock', one at Mallory) on a 33bhp Licence but a 95bhp bike.
You'll be fine, just avoid the MSV tracks.
A trackday will teach you a lot about riding your bike, and not just fast. What bike is it, btw? ____________________ "Oh....it looks like Average Joe's is forfeiting the match!" - "Yeah, its a risky strategy but lets see if it pays off for 'em Cotton." |

Nice one cheers
It's a (correction) 1986 Yamaha FZ750, possibly to be replaced quite soon with an FZR600, maybe a Ninja G1.
I may well be going on tour with a BSB team (not allowed to say which) this season so I though I could use the week to get a track day or two in if they happen to coincide. ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.
