When buying oil for my Bandit 600......it was serviced at the dealers
when i bought it, say they used synthetic oil i put in non synthetic
or vice versa would it be ok. also is car and bike breakfluid the same or
are they different............

You can mix and match oil , I use semi syth 10w-40 or is it 10-40w one of those combos.

brake fluid you should not mix and match every bike I've owned uses dot 4 brake fluid some of them are incompatible best keep the same type.

Hi

Car and bike brake fluid are the same thing. Chances are it is DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 fluid you need (the higher the number refers to a higher standard with a higher boiling point). They can be mixed.

Do not use DOT 5 fluid unless specifically required (think only some Harleys use it). While it will work it does not mix with the other fluids and your seals may not be compatible with it.

semi syth should be fine, my dad runs his xjr1300 on semi syth, he finds that fully syth makes the clutch slip. or was it the other way round? i imagine im right.
