Change the sprockets. Go down a few on the rear, or up a few on the front.

Reduces the acceleration, but increases top speed.

If it's revving out in top gear easily, should be able to up the gearing a bit.
Personally, I'd say if you want more power, it'd make more sense to sell the bike and get one with more power - or a different style bike that has more power anyway Smile.

Unless the bike will red line in top gear quite easily. It is pointless up-gearing it because it will probably make it slower off the line AND slower top end.

Why don't you buy a fast bike and let your brother have fun on the bike that he's happy with?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

that makes no sense.
why buy a bike thats all about low speed(relative to a sport bike)agility, fun and hooliganism then want it to go fast?
1.how fast does he want it to go?
2.how fast does it go at the moment?
3.does it easily rev out top gear?
4.what bike are you having made with a b12 and a blower?
5.what is the fastest land mammal?

If your bro's determined to spend/waste a decent chunk of cash there are a few ways to do it, especially if it's a rotax, I believe.
Not sure you can get much more out of the Suzuki engined ones - or at least not sensibly, we would be getting quite seriously into 'polishing a turd' territory (not saying the DR engine is bad, it's just designed to be reliable rather than fast.)

There is a CCM specific forum where a lot of the owners do similar to your bro's desires, however I think it's down right now and forget the exact details.
