In that I have an old helmet , for which I have two visors for....
If I saw the ends off one of the visors where they attach to the helmet , then use something like silicone around the edges and 'stick' the other visor to the outside of the visor attached to the helmet....
This makes a double 'glazed' helmet and in effect a sort of pinlock helmet but one that costs me nowt since I have some bathroom silicone somewhere and the visors just sitting going to waste.
Or will it completely not work and just look kind of silly?.
Any thoughts?

How about marking one to just a bit smaller than the opening and then doing the same as you suggest, but on the inside.
This would look a lot neater.
The biggest issue i can see is making sure you get a air gap between the 2 visors.
Maybe sticking something like tile spacers round the edge, to ensure you do get a gap and not 2 visors against each other. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |
