Ok well, having just bought my Hornet, Im not sure if I should sell the GPZ or not, the main reason I bought a new bike was because the GPZ started to go wrong, and i've fixed everything that has gone wrong - Ignition barrel, starter selenoid, this n that.

So now i'm thinking, i've fixed the bad bits so they won't go wrong soon, its a 1997GPZ500s, with 19K miles on the clock, not bad condition, another worry is the bracket where the engine is held onto the frame the rubber mounts are deteriorating.

I would use the GPZ as a winter hack and keep the Hornet for nicer days.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Tim

Hornets make good winter hacks. I'd part with the GPZ before it needs any more spending on it.

Its REALLY tidy though right now, its a 02 and has 6K miles, so you can imagine the use its had, little. Everything is immaculate on it... Im looking at a hugger on ebay, and just bought a fenda extenda today, so if I do decide to part with the GPZ at least the hornet will be better protected.

I could always find a little cg hack for crappy days.

No reason why the Hornet can't stay that way through winter - depending if you wanna put a lil effort into the mix that is.
