Yamaha MT-03

Hello guys, I just joined the forum and love it so far.
As many of you knows, the mt-03 is not one of the bikes imported in the USA as now, so I still have to dream a bit more, who knows, maybe soon I'll be able to get one. My question (or favor) if is not too soon to ask is: since I really like the way the headlight unit presents itself, I would like to know if there is a way to get a microfische part number of that and the brackets that hold it, or if you know anyone that is selling the whole unit, or a dealer that does that and ships overseas, I currently have a Ducati 999R and also a MV Agusta Brutale; I think that modification would make the MV look really awesome, I'd really appreciate any kind of help I can get! Steady on, the OP is after a parts diagram for the headlight and mounts, not a complete bike.

Best bet is your local Yamaha dealer for the microfiche, or google.

over here, enduro, means a bike that is used off road, not any bike with upright bars

i wouldnt call the mulistrada an enduro, as its a sports tourer, its not designed to be used offroad

I was born and raised in Europe, I'm aware what Enduro means and yet, I've seem Multistradas run on the desert out here, is all what you make of it; put on a off road set of tires and a skid plate and with the engine that's on the Multi, you can kick pretty much any so called enduro's ass out there, including all the KLR's ever made. The fuel tank capacity might be the only issue.
And I'm not even a Multistrada fan!

Erm, sorry, but I'm not sure you are quite aware what an enduro bike is.
A KLR most definitely is not an enduro bike.

I suspect if a multistrada could kick their arses, then all those riders might be on 200kg ducati monsters rather than 100kg lightweights .
Sure, on really fast open stuff, the 'super enduro' style bikes do have an advantage, but not when it gets more technical; thus you see them more in Dakar, but not Baja.

Oh and the Mt-03 may /look/ a fun bike, but everything I've read about it suggests that it's a slow heavy and boring bike to ride - the only real 'fun' coming from the lower power.

No probs - for the record, a 'Dakar' or similar bike would be considered a 'rally' bike. The Ducati is much nearer the top end of these; however they do tend to be extensively modified and unfortunately thus cost massive amounts of money even for a second hand one.

Why not watch ebay UK / Germany / Italy etc and see if one comes up used? Then you can buy one and try it out for fit etc yourself.

Might even be worth doing a search for 'motorcycle breakers UK' and emailing some to see if they have broken (sorry parting out for you yanks ) any and have the lights for sale.

Thanks guys, I contacted a dealer in Rome and also a friend I have there. Between the 2 I should have no problems have one shipped.
The headlight alone is 97Euros and the shipping is 98.
