I saw a similar bike where he said the bearing had gone on the kick start by this he meant that thing that held the kick start out of the way has fallen off and the kickstart would fall into kick position all the time.
Can't tell unless you go look or maybe just go and ask him which bearing. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. buy it and sell me the barrel
i doubt that you'd need to remove the kick start because of the bearing??
may be the spring has come loose and is doing what itchy says,
they are are pretty damn simple bike to be honest, a complete strip down only takes about 30mins, and to get to the kick start spring is a 5 minute job ____________________ the humans are dead

Well, He could potentially buy so many bikes that he can't move any more...
AAh! What can go wrong with 'a' kickstart, not Kickstart!! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

If it's the later "K" model, they were a bit prone to the end of the kickstart shaft snapping off. I have a spare one somewhere if needed ____________________ Space Is Deep |
