That is the most disgusting bike I've ever seen. I actually feel a bit angry after looking at it.

i just dont get the vstrom, where is it suposed to fit in the whole motorbike groupings,
its not a sport bike- far too bulky for that
its definitly not an off road bike- too many fairings and too low to the ground
its not a commuter- too big and fat
is it a tourer?? it looks like a severely overweight sv1000

may be if it was stripped down to bare bones it might be ok

the colour isnt that bad... i think its more the fact it is over the WHOLE bike.

If the saddle, hand guards where black/charcoal/ash it would look very nice i think.

Although the rims would need painting too, and im not really sure what colour would work there!

Maybe im biased, because i ride a turqoise divvy Very Happy

That. Is. Minging.

I had to laugh when I saw that he's had bloody everything painted that disgusting blue colour, even the standard undertray!

Now, if he'd had the whole thing done matt black with silver decals, that would be tasty. Still a V-Strom though, which is basically a thirsty but comfy tourer, a bit like the Varadero etc.

Cheers

Grim

It looks like it's been coloured in by my 4 year old after she couldn't find her pink or purple felt tips.

Its a mix of them all

Its nippy on the road and you would be suprised how low you can get it will be getting knee sliders soon i think as my footpegs are nakered

Stick a bash plate over the coolers and its handles great on the gravel tracks and light offroad treks

As a comuter its got me to work everyday for nearly a year it gives great milage and warms up quick in the morning

And as a tourer ive been to london all round the lakes and scotland and 2 up with luggage will happily sit at 80mph without straining itself.

But then i would say that i own one Mr. Green

I stumbled across it because I am a V-Strom (DL1000) owner and thinks it's absolutely hideous so we'll agree on that, and i'd never dream of trying to take it off-road, but I can't agree on the following:

hmmmnz wrote:

I commute an 80 mile round trip on mine daily and it's perfect, comfortable, un-stressed, and offering protection from the elements.

I don't reckon 47-48mpg @ 90mph on the M5 for half-an-hour each way and a bit of city filtering qualifies it as thristy.

The vstroms a good but seriously underrated bike. But what he/she has done to that bike is beyond hideous!

"Hello, bodyshop...what is the gayest colour you have? Hmmmm. OK, well can you give me a quote to gay that up a notch and spray pretty much every part of my bike in that shade please?"

You do have to wonder what some people are thinking when they customise cars and bikes. Guess there really is no accounting for taste! Mr. Green

The seller has "ongoing chronic prostatitis"

and I'm not surprised... not one bit.

Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.

I laughed at that one, but once again why would anyone see fit to mention that as a reason for sale? Laughing
