You may be right, although it's difficult to measure....

Cars are easier to drive and people probably feel safer in a modern car than they would have done 20 years ago.

It appears to me that people are running red lights a lot more these days than they did in the past

Nobody likes being taken over, you should have just over taken him and you wouldn't have had hassle. Wink

no doubt that the standard of dirving is much better than here. I commute through tooting and stretham to work, and i bet that 3/4 of them have no licence, or have on from another country. They just do what they like. ive encountered more than twice, someone comming down the wrong side of the road towards me at speed. Making me taking advoiding action onto the pavement. Just loads of people who are almost out to take me off. One old guy pulled a u turn in the middle of a busy high street, just 2 cars infornt of me. Casuing the car to harshly break befor hitting him.

Just stupid people who dont really care about anyone but themselves in their cages while breaking everylaw possible and making everyone else adapt their diving/riding to suit them.

the other week i was heading out of the town and a car ahead turned out from a turning and instead of driving on the left he was driving on the right (my side) heading straight for me , i was just thinking WTF.

I stopped well in time as i could see it happening , so when he got back on his side of the road he put his window down and said sorry mate i was not sure were i was going!!

Ive never seen anything like it before as he was driving at 30ish its mad.

Depends on what your riding, if you had been a big hairy greabo he wouldnt has wound down his window, best just go past him and forget it cause theres another just around the corner and there always will be, keep your cool Smile
