New Helmet

Hello

I'm looking to get a new bike helmet but am wondering if anyone can recomend any Light Weight Helmet's.

I have had a look about but when i am searching it is proving difficult to find out the weights of them.

My current Helmet weighs 1450g and i have heard that there are some super light weight ones.

AGV do a super super light weight helmet, can anyone reccomend them or any others and tell me the weights of them and which type do you recommend?

Dose anyone have one?

The Shoei X-SPIRIT is claimed to be 1250g without carbon, but with a price tag to match.

The BMW Sport Integral comes in at 1000g and apparently that's for the heaviest in the range - the smallest size coming in at just 900g. Unfortunately it's rather a lot heavier on your wallet at around £800 if I remember!

More sensibly priced the Shoei Raid II comes in at 1350kg to match the carbon HJC.

Remember fit is very important when buying a helmet .
