when i bought my bike the bloke in the shop said they have stopped putting reserve tanks on the rs but on the website it says there is a 3.5 litre res capacity, is there a switch to put it on the reserve of is it automatic?

sorry in advance from a complete dunce when it comes to bikes...and probably most other things too Laughing

edit: will a cdi unit that fits an 04 model fit the 08 model? cheers

reserve is either when the fuel light comes on, or when you have to switch the fuel tap over to reserve Thumbs Up

If there is a reserve light then there wont be a switch at all. The light just comes on when there is 'X' amount of fuel left in the tank.

If its not the newest shape, there is no reserve light and the fuel tap should be turned to "res" when the bike runs out in the "on" position.
