What should I do to my bike?

What do you all think I should do to my new bike?? What sort of Mods, accessories etc should I go for??

im thinking some rim tape and crash mushrooms, maybe a dark tint double bubble screen.

Change the huuge can, get rid of the bus spec indicators, maybe tail tidy then leave the rest well alone!

Looks pretty much spot on apart from the can. Imo it needs a carbon one, about 3" shorter and possibly a bit smaller diameter.

Carbon hugger/air intakes and can would be good. As would a tail tidy and seatcowl. Ditch the rear pegs and get a dark double bubble. Rim tape actually would look ok on your bike I think.

Wear the tyres down to the canvas and get the whole thing covered in flies and road muck.

Probably put some fork protectors on those USD forks, to minimise need to change seals and bushes.

Also try before you buy the DB screen might sound like a good idea but they sometimes push the wind onto the top of your helmet instead of your check causing neck ache.

My sugestions

Red Rim Tape
Red Hugger
Black or clear Double bubble
HID lights
R&G or other good quality crash mushrooms
Rear seat cowl
Flushmount/LED indicators

I'd seriously recommend the crash mushrooms. My mate engaged 1st gear and dropped the bike! Nothing was damaged however.

Double bubble makes motorways a LOT more comfortable... less wind noise!

LED lights clean up the aesthetics whilst the seat cowl and under tray boost the already HUGE underseat storage.

954's are stunning bikes aesthetically and performance wise.

I managed to fit 2 locks, comprehensive tool kit and my shoes in mine yesterday!

Mate, keep the can as it is. Unless you have a PCIII, any smaller can will probably mess up your fuelling because you'll probably have figured out how glitchy low speed fuelling is like on the bike!

The can's fine. Stainless is good because it almost looks stock! My bike's micron looks very understated because it's not carbon fibre or anything garish like that. It's not an exotic shape or anything like that.

Cosmetic mods which enhance performance are definitely worth a look into. If you do go for an undertray, get one which doesn't change the rear light cluster. A solo seat cowl will give it the look to finish it off... but pointless if you carry pillions.

If you need to ask us, I think that's sign enough that there's not a lot needs changing. I'd be tempted to keep it stock. Boring maybe, but how many great condition, completely untampered Blades do you see these days?

Go out and ride the thing and see where the bike's lacking, then make some decisions based upon that feedback. I doubt you'd find much, imo 954s are the peak of the original Blade's development - I'd buy one over the latest incarnations.
