Recommend me some Metal music

Being a new owner of a 120gb iPod I decided it's time to update my music collection.

Can anyone recommend any good Heavy Metal/Rock music that's worth listening to.

Think along the lines of Trivium/Pantera/Killswitch Engage/Metallica/Protest The Hero etc

The more technical the guitar stuff, the better.

Pretty much everything covered already, but maybe try Silverchair's first album - technically more heavy/grungy rock than metal, but you might like it. Maybe Soundgarden too?
