i need to buy some jets to get my bike running well as i only have size 88 and size 120 Embarassed

was thinking about getting 94 and 98 but im not sure what mm they are.

this is what the shop says..
"PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSTING IS FOR A 6 MM THREAD DELLORTO MAIN JET"

or

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSTING IS FOR A 5 MM THREAD DELLORTO MAIN JET

which one fits the rs standard carb? from 1999 to 2006 model.

there like 1 pound each buy a big slelction off them and set you bike up properley so you dont keep posting the same "my bike dosent run well" thread for the billionth time

but why would i buy a 'big slelction off them' if they aint gona fit my bike?

Hi again Mr Helpfull,

i took your wise advice and spent a while downloading the manuls for a tzr 50 and rs 50, the carb i need the jet size for is "delorto PHBN 16 NS/1"

Now... i cant see anything about the thred sizes.. but the fuel lvl says 5mm is this what i need or somthing differnt.

From what info i can find i'd say 6mm

Halfway down the page PHBN 12mm - 17.5mm 6413 (6mm)

yeah i rang dellorto uk (google it its the first one) and it is a 6mm thread

what bike are you riding?
i have a rieju rs2 50 (use the same minarelli am6 engine)
rieju told me for a derestricted bike ( nut out of exhaust,up rated oil pump) it will need 102 jets

(not form rieju) if u add a performance exhaust guessin 108 and if a air filter ontop then it is 115

although mine is 58 plate would suggest u ring dellorto ur self

Hi Jack, Thanks for that info, i put a 120 jet in 6mm thred and it was fine Smile

it was on my old bike, Yamaha Tzr 50.

iv got a Gilera SC 125 now tho, Much better Very Happy

well im just gunna rstrict in then derestrict it once im used to the bike i checked insurance will be the same that im payin now for my 50 (£380 tpo) i live neer the worst road in britain aswell

Your gsxr 600 will be slower than my 125 if you restrict it.

might aswell wait till your 21 to get a big bike...

and im just restrictin it till its insured then puttin a unlimited cdi in it

also the bike would be very hard to hand with the power restricted to 33bhp to heavy in corners would end up falin off it in many corners

i cant wait to go to my see my family 125 miles away and get there in less than an hour

also i just dont want a 125 i dont like to follow the majority thats why i ride a rieju not an aprilia

but yh its gunna be factory stock for two yrs except cdei then will mod probs


note: if u passed A licence at 17 for insurance if ur bike is bigger than 33bhp do u need a certificate to say it is restricted or can i just go yeah it is when its not

There is no actual "legal document" to prove a restriction. FI International that sell restriction kits will tell you that their certificate is a required document, but it's not.

However, your insurance company might require proof of restriction, and they would likely accept one of those certificates.

I restricted my bike and then removed them, just to get the certificate. Was a waste of time and money tbh. Insurance have never asked about it, I've never mentioned it.

Handling and the like won't be affected at all with low power (small throttle openings, you get less than full power anyways, duh). And it won't be as fast, nowhere near. Where the power should start to come in and make the bike start to really pull hard, it will just trail off. Top speed with 33bhp is about a ton.

And I doubt a 125 will be faster....

thanks man thats helped me alot and i do all insurance online so wont be any Q's haha here i come gsxr 600 Laughing then il go past all my m8s in shitty cars n 125s n be like Middle Finger Twisted Evil

and then bamm, you just dropped it and your mates in there shit cars go past laughin.

going from a 50cc to a 600cc sounds abit optermistic for an imature 16 year old.

2 bikes, side by side both 33bhp

125cc weights 225 lbs
will be geared lower for accleration
has a back wheel of 140/70

600cc weights 359 lbs
will be geared higher
has a back wheel of 180/55

my votes on the 125 Razz
