Search in eBay help for how to contact eBay, you can contact them about scam listings.

If in doubt, read the manual. Wink

That would have been placed by people pushing the price right up to stop genuine bidders getting caught out.

To report an item, click the link below, choose "Report a prohibited item", then "report a fraudulent item", you get the idea.

https://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/contact_inline/report_listing.html

I've reported it as a fradulant listing, the more people that do the sooner it disappears!

What I find funny is the stupid tossers always write down the specifications from a manual or manufacturer website, word-for-word!

As if anyone doing aprivate sale will do that?! Laughing

Do people really fall for these? Confused

The easy to spot scams are;

New user

Bad english, especially if you email and ask a question.

Bike is usually in a different location to where they originally said.

Worldwide delivery.

American pictures, a lot of the bikes seem to be US spec. Probably because they browse the web for the pic and find one on a US site. Paint schemes are different to Europe and they have reflectors on the forks.

Low or no reserve start price.

I really hope that these are being spotted now and being reported.
