I belive it works for an exhaust.

All the BBQ paint is, is high temp paint. They have just given it that name so people know what its purpose is.

So it should work, but might not give a very nice finish and if your spraying the head, it could make problems.

i can vouch that it works on exhausts, unsure about engine itself i see no reason why not but at your discretion!

Same as above really, used it on an exhaust but not the engine. What you need to look out for it the max temperature that is on the can, I belive it is 600 degrees, which should be ok on an engine. But check it out.
