This is a Biohazard tattoo.

Don't soak in a bath for about 2 weeks.

Try not to use soap on it or heavily fragranced shower gels.

If it's slimy, when you wash, try to wipe the slime away, without too much rubbing.

Don't rub it, pat it when you towel yourself off.

Baby oil is good in place of vaseline. Do not rub anything into it when it's wet as you may pull scabs off at the same time.

Don't put anything clingy on when still damp, I've had tattoos stick to clothing before now.

DON'T scratch, slap instead.

Thumbs Up

Where did you get the tat done Bio???

You wont get much scabbing with that tat. My Dad is a tattooist.
You do not need to apply vaseline to the tattoo at all after it is completed. Make sure you keep it clean, wash it 2-3 times a day DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER pat it dry with a soft towel and apply a thin coat of the savlon.
Do not cake the tattoo in savlon...

A better but slightly more expensive alternative to savlon is Bepanthen.
Now i know that the Mothers and some of the more slightly clued up fathers on here are going to say that it is for nappy rash, and it is.
But it also contains ProVitamin B5 which supports the natural healing of your own body.

IIRC for my first one I purchased the soap and healing cream from the tattooists. Was ok, however for the 3 since then I just used diprobase moisturiser, it's soothing and unscented as its for sensitive skin.
fuck...I'm a pansy.
