Cats, My house was nice before my other half decided to get a dog then I decided to get another and now my lovely garden is a swomp of mud and shit, all my plants are wreaked, my walls are dirty and I am tired cleaning up after the two stinking twats and everyone else. I have one with problems that pisses all over my carpet and is just stupid. My cats have never caused me a bother. One is sitting beside me now like a giant tea cosy.

Between me and the wife, we have dogs, a cat, lizards and snakes. This means we aso have crickets and mealworms, to feed the lizards on, and a freezer full of rats, mice and chicks to feed the snakes on.

Dogs are happier to see you, but my cat comes when she's called.

The snakes arent great company, but at least the python's learned to stop biting the hand that feeds it, literally (photo available if wanted).

The lizards are my wife's, and being aussie species are "full of character" (tr. "aggressive")

I'm a dog man ... I love the loyalty of a dog and they way they are so soppy.

It seems most cats i have met (friends pets) ... Cats only want to know you if they are cold or hungry ...

Dogs are a lot more hassle than cats though. And if you get a fury dog and don't wash it .. they are dirty and smelly.

But its the loyalty and soppyness that does it for me, they are so dependent on their owner - cats are more self sufficient and you live in THEIR home!!

Also its quite pleasant taking a dog for a walk on a nice day!! .. it is a burden on a sh1te day mind you ... but at lest it gets you out of the house in the fresh air over sitting around huddled up near the fire!!
