Basically this is a cry for help so if you cba then stop reading.

I've been off work for like 8 months now due to my crash last year when frankly my world fell apart.

I've had a nerve graft on my arm recently an i'm unable to move it for 5 weeks, its in a sling and is awkward to get dressed an cook an you know do anything. It takes 20 mins to put socks on lol.

Ive been through this once when my arm wasnt responding an broke my hip joint off my leg, an i'm finding it twice as hard this time.
I need to find things to do but i'm clueless, i've ordered some sketching things to maybe kill some time, but can you help me find some other things to do please, its getting unbareable an my friends dont really do anthing to help cept dump problems on me.

Do you have a creative side? If so indulge in it, do some writing or something.

Look up a youtube user called architectus777 he gives some pointers on creative writing and drawing.

In my spells of unemployment I used to draw short small comics (a few got published in defunct magazines).

Write articles for a few online things.

Write gameFAQs for gamefaqs.com , (they are still there I believe under my old pen name).

Get rid of my junk via freecycle of gumtree (goes on free cycle if I fail to sell it in a specified period).

Do some airbrushing of helmets (I'm not very good currently).

Improve upon my woeful mandarin.

Fix things around the house.

I also mentor rookie students at a university and ride around to junk yards finding things under piles of scrap to fix.

Get a plan for each day/week. Like a timetable. Add in all the things you have to do; eat, sleep, toilet, cleaning and cooking. Add times for getting up and going to sleep, Add in some excercise everyday (as much as you can comfortably do). Add in some TV/DVD time. Add in some reading time. Add In some hobby time. Add in some BCF time. Add in helping someone else time. Add in going out doors time. etc etc

Be pretty strict with yourself. Most of the time it is not lacking things to do it is lacking someone telling you to do them, so tell yourself. Make a plan and stick to it. As others have said learn something new, langauge, sketching, computer prog, ...........

I tell you something that will really eat your time, if you want: download a copy of the Python programming language, go through the tutorials, and then get to work on writing things like programs that will work out peak speed and torque on gear ratios, or frame geometry changes for fork swaps or something.
I know that programming doesn't exactly sound like fun, but it's a great way of spending a bunch of spare time, and it means that you can write yourself tools that may well prove useful for calculating what'd make a good adjustment to the bike.
Python's generally regarded as one of the nicest programming languages to learn on, too, so don't worry about getting bogged down with insane jargon or other such madness.
Just a thought. It may keep you sane, and you'll have a marketable skill at the end of it, too.

Start looking into your family history, find out about your ancestors, hunt for old photographs and everything...it is really interesting and time consuming, and all consuming...

I started mine a few years ago, and have met distant ancestors through all sorts of sites, including FB...and have some great conversations with them as well as my usual friends.

Do both sides of your family. See if you can unearth some hidden gems, family tragedies, family secrets etc.

Start plotting your family tree, see where you fit into it. Find out if your ancestors were on any of the famous cruise liners heading out to the new world. Find out what they did in the new world, were they famous, did they earn loadsa money, where did it all go etc.
