Trike builder - awe and ridicule in equal doses . . .

A local chap built himself a trike - not sure if it was EssexV6 based or some other V8 - but that's not important right now .

Awe - at the general approach, skill and engineering dexterity at the guy in the design and build of his super wide-barred trike

Ridicule - as he took it out and almost crashed at the first turn; literally . . .

The dipstick had only gone and positioned the resting position of the bar/ grips almost at the extent of his reach - at his first left hander - you guessed it! The throttle was almost a foot out of reach . . .

His riding style is currently along the lines of giving it a handful going into lefthanders so he can coast round and pick up the throttle again when it straightens out!
