surely a set of Alpinestar SP-1 gloves should cost more than £28 ?

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Motorcycle-Gloves-Leather-Alpinestar-SP-1-M_W0QQitemZ220377116861QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Gloves?hash=item220377116861&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

so are these fake, whats the deal?

thanks

Definitely a mickey mouse copy!

The thumb sliders should be PU and not leather.
Perforrations are different.
Even the knuckle sliders are different shapes.
The cuff inside surface should also be perforrated for most of the alpinestar gloves... that one looks like it has a smooth unperforrated surface.

Top one is genuine so you can compare how blatant it is.

Generally alpinestar sports gloves DO not GO for any cheaper than 60quid BNIB for SP1s and those would be last season's gloves! If you're seeing any alpinestars goods BNIB for at least 20 quid less than RRP LET ALONE £30 BIN, ask whether they were last seasons or stock clearance.
