He's more irresponsible than the 122mph chap due to the state of his bike, lack of documents and the speed... but he still didn't crush an entire family while using a laptop.

But then, all bikers are like worse versions of Hitler and must be locked up and the key thrown away, it seems. Mad

I think its silly that they highlight the fact his mudgard was tied to his bike, and his seat was loose. It wasnt ofcourse the safest thing to do, but he's done 150mph and it still on so cant have been too dodgy Laughing . 10months I think is harsh

This guy isn't a biker, look at him. No license, no insurance, dodgy bike, dodgy maneuvers. The guys obviously a 'tard and I think he deserves more than a 2 year ban and a fine so locking him up is fine by me! ten months might be a bit harsh but still.. suppose he might reflect on how people perceive bikers so f*ck him.

Forgot to mention: There's a chap on sv650.org who is his cousin. I hope he doesn't mind if I post it here.

Ok Guys, I have to admit that I am very qualified to lay judgment in this case.

Michael is my cousin (I am ashamed to admit it but its true).

He is a K**B, born one and will always be one.
Was always "Nannys little angel".
Never worked a decent day in his life.
Never gained anything through his own efforts.
Got through life on the reputation of his family name (The Robillards were a bit notorious in their day).

DONT FEEL SORRY OR TRY TO JUSTIFY ANYTHING FOR THIS GUY!!!

He is the sort of guy that would borrow your last £10 and then go and rob your house while you were out.

Truely one of lifes wasters.

He obviously doesn't give a rats ass about anyone else so why should I care about his punishment for being a tool.

Serves him right I say Middle Finger

Yeah I was cringing there to, the driver of the vauxhall took ages pull over, im not saying he was doing anything wrong though.

The video was properly showing the most dangerous parts of the chase but I want to know how it ended, it didn't look like he was going to pull over any time soon.

Sounds like a nobber, only problem is that they may use this sentence as a precedent for other similar speeding offences. I did an indicated 160mph on the M3 once, perfectly safe IMO.

Noob for riding without license and associated requirements ala insurance etc Thumbs Down

Simalary though I have low engine oil (where IS that leak coming from!!! rocker cover I think.) a loose seat and at one stage had my exhaust held on by laces... strange coindidence. I also live in Devon.

I haven't been outrunning police(or trying to) though. Nor do i have a Gsxr.

Japanese bikes being famous for their ultra secure methods for attaching mudguards to motorcycles. Usually by means of two, flimsy plastic lugs or a couple of self-tapping screws as I recall.

I would regard a bootlace as an upgrade.

Prison for speeding is fucking stupid.

Community service max.

This is why prisons are overcrowded and that little shit that steals your bike gets let go.

Jail for 150mph alone would be stupid, but given the manner in which he was riding ontop of the fact that he didn't have a license or insurance then a ban simply wouldn't have been appropriate.

The sad thing is, if he had have been 15, he would have probably landed little more than the ban.

Well he kind of deserves what he got in a way but the thing that slightly intrigues me is that I am fairly sure a lot of police forces aren't allowed by their own guidelines to pursue motorcyclists at those kind of speeds. I'm not saying its right or wrong, just a thought running through my mind.

Considering the state of his riding and the length of time he spent on the wrong side of hte road, i guess he was used to riding state side Laughing

Looked like this riding was pretty hesitant most of the time, which may explain why he got caught. While the corner (how do you know it was blind?) overtake was a little cringeworthy, I've seen worse, including done by police on clips shows etc - in the end, he didn't crash that specific manoeuvre was 'safe' as such - it seemed the issue wasn't the overtake, but that he didn't really quite understand what the bike could do and let it wander wide (which does suggest he maybe wasn't suited to that sort of riding.)

Glad to hear that he was the sort of person that did 'deserve it', though these recent cases are far from a good precedent to set.
If you're going to be a bit naughty and stop, it's always best to make sure everything else is legit - hypocritical from me in the past, though.

Don't see how the mudguard or seat really affects anything.

Every time I take the bike out, two up I do a tad more than the limit,
like most, just remember, some of the statements on this fool and others not breaking any other law that speeding is giving the powers to be bullets to fire at us, think before speaking out
