Bike to Bike comms

Hi,
I've been looking around trying to find a bike to bike comms kit, so far all i've seen is autocom and they want £160 per bike! thats a bit steep imo so is there any other options?

i have tried a few different sets, and most are crap. lidl's ones included (though the headsets are great for using with their rider to pillion system, and for music etc) and i really think the only way forward is the autocom stuff (or similar) anything else is a waste of money, i could probably afforded an auto com set up myself if i hadnt wasted so much money on other systems, they were also offer on some website the other day on some website, half price - so the top spec system was cheaper than the lowest spec system when normal price...cant remember the website though - was advertised in bike.

I agree with what you say about autocom, but with lidi or aldi stuff you get a 3 year guarantee, it may be crap but they stand by it, unlike most retailers

Used the scala rider Q2 kit, and it is awsome.
Done around 120miles (roughly) bike to bike on one charge last year, used it a good few times other than that, and once you get the ear pieces in the right place its rather clear as it tries to filter out the wind/bike noise.
Its a doddle to fit as it attatches to the side of the helmet.

Another one for the scala q2, bought at the NEC last year and only just got round to fitting and trying them out. Good to about 80 or 90 and distance is adequate if not autocom good, really impressed and i've used autocoms for years.

Don't waste your time money and patience with anything else.
Get an autocom.
Once it's fitted you'll laff at the others.
Excelent for pumping tunes into your nut aswell.....

Many a time the autocom has come into its own because of that extra 15%. Once it is fitted ( yes it is a fiddle but £15 to your local garage gets that bit done) it is in a world of its own.
