exhaust help

hey i got a can off a mate for nowt, but it looks like the link pipe has be cut off anyone know what this bit is called (the three hole bit?)


and if they come on link pipes as standard or do they need to be bought?

also can end-cans be re-sleeved?

Hi Mate, looks like a three bolt fitting rather than a link pipe fitting end can, some bikes have the can fitted like that like the older zx6rs (before 02) etc. Best bet is to measure the distance between the holes and yo should get a feel for what it will fit.

what are the measurements between the bolt holes? also can you take a picture from the side? Tom

It's a bolt on can rather than a slip on. The original bike it was made for would have had a flange (what you have in your picture) that it would have bolted on to. You will need that flange and then fabricate a new link pipe from that flange to your headers.
Can't be worth it!
