I've done 3500miles on my YBR, tis a great little bike and has worked well.. except...

Once warm, if i'm idle and i open the throttle to pull off quickly, it'll cut out, bog down very quickly then stall completely and i'm left stuck at the front of a queue, should this happen?

Also... if i change gear at 10k rpm (the start of the redline) it'll change gear fine and off i go, now if i change just after 10k revs it'll 'hiccup' once i hit 9k rpm in the next gear, by hiccup i mean stutter, enough to throw me forward then backwards on the bike and it looks ridiculous.

Is it me? or is my bike running rich? there's a distinct smell of fuel in the air if i open it hard from idle.

(when i saw warm, i've just gotten home from work that took 25mins and was doing 60mph on the dual carriageway)

*Edit* It's a carbed version as it's a jap import*
Cheers

Aaron

Have a look at the spark plug colour , lean running is white, brown is normal , black and sooty is rich.
