Recently I got my bike brakes fluid changed by Honda and also they adjusted my idle speed to about 1600rpm, when the bike was warm.

My bike has a Scorpion can, which I was told doesn't help the rpm as they move between 1500-1600rpm.

This has been an on going problem but I have had no time to address it.

When I start the bike in the morning it starts first time, sometimes with choke and then run for about 30 sec and when the rev drop it cut outs.

I have to run the bike with the choke on or rev the engine from cold for a few min to stop the bike cutting out when idle.

But once the bike is really warm its fine.

I adjusted the rpm when the bike was warm to idle at 2000rpm but it still cuts out when warm.

When the bike is cold the rev are at 1500rpm and once it is warm it rev at 2000rpm.

I did change the spark plug to one of those iridium (increase power which I have noticed) ones and also adjusted the value clearance.

Just start the bike with the bik on full choke, then take it off a little bit if the revs start to bog down. o this until you can take the choke off fully without it dying. Tis how i start my bike, takes les than a minute. usually just set the choke so it will keep ticking over, and then knock it off once i start moving.

If you leave the choke on fully for too long, that will happen. When the revs start to drop, take the choke off a bit. Keep going until the revs start to pick up again.

EDIT: Just had a thought, is this a CBR125 right? The choke on my old one was a bit odd. Once you pulle the plunger all the way up, it would slowly start to retract itself, and i'd have to pull it back up again. Is yours doing this?

If it is the CBR 125, I would reccomend getting something to wedge under the choke, because like Nox said the chokes on them tend to slide back in fairly easy and can be fairly annoying, on mine my old alarm fob use to be a perfect fit.

When the bike is warm the bike rev to 2000rpm but when its cold its drops to 1500rpm when with the choke on.

Any advice... please.

Thanks
