I've found the police really couldn't care less. A few times i been blatantly speeding and the police have just shook their heads at me. Pulled for doing double the speed limit and got told to pack it in. Last nite i was weaving between speed bumps due to boredom and i didnt notice a police car and they didn't do anything. When i have been pulled i've been polite and they haven't taken it any further. I'm guessing my luck will run out though.

When I got busted a few years ago now (caught on radar at 119mph) they suggested that if I hadn't been undertaking at the time, they wouldn't have bothered to follow me, etc (though, if I'd carried on riding at that speed in that manner, they wouldn't have caught up with me either, but that's another matter.)

They're coming round to yours later with a set of oversized trunchens to do a full cavity search.

Get ready to be violated. Wink

Only kidding, they won't do anything since they didn't stop you then.

I was sat behind a copper on the A55 for about half an hour on Friday night, doing about 80 and gradually he sped up to about 90. He waved me past and I gingerly took it up to about 100 and overtook him expecting the blues to come on but he just gave me a nod and off I went.

Never stated if lights were on, mirrors make bikes look stupid anyway. If you don't have mirrors your more likely to do more life savers so it makes no difference, unless of course you are being followed by the fuzz.

Wouldn't worry though HL, if they don't stop you there then they can't do anything about it Thumbs Up .

It is starting to get annoying only having one mirror on the hornet. I am going to replace the one that broke when I came off my bike.
