This is my bike - I've cleaned it up a bit and now I think it's time to show you lot.

I've been working on for quite a while now. It started off almost standard, it's had its fair share of repairs and bodges, and this is it at the moment.

(It's not that colour!)

Still going strong for the mileage.

Removed the rear seat etc.

Frontend. Wiring is to the brake light switch and starter button.

The rear...needs more paint!

It's a shitter, but I like it.

That bike looks ace especially with just the single seat.

Somewhere deep in my subconscious there is a little voice saying thats exactly how a motorbike should look thats how you used to draw them as a child and for that reason i love it Thumbs Up

Now have a can of black hammerite. So I plan to do some designs over the green, especially on the tank and mudguard.

I need some suggestions! What do you think would look good?

Something not too difficult as I'm not hugely good at spraying.

Also painting the exhaust black.

Cheers Smile

Some tribal swirls would look really good if the black wasnt to prominent against the green.

P.s if you ever sell it let me know, ill sell a kidney to buy it Thumbs Up

I've painted the bike and the exhaust with black BBQ paint now, looks good Very Happy

Having some problems with exhaust leakage so I've sealed over the join between the pipe and downpipe with a tin can. Still have a couple of holes where the linkpipe goes into the can though. Think it'll need a new exhaust system soon.

I'll post pics soon Thumbs Up

Mainly to try and stop the rust. I was going to just paint the linkpipe but I thought I may as well do the can while I was at it.

The exhaust is the only bit that's rusting - the rest of the bike is as solid as anything.

Looks good Thumbs Up

Do you carry pillions often? Could cut down the back, or even get rid of the pillion seat all together.

I did have the pillion seat off for a bit but my girlfriend has expressed a renewed interest in going on the back so it's had to go back on for now Very Happy
