I was given a Wii with Wii balance board for my birthday a couple of months ago, was great for the first week or 2 but it's now got rather boring and I can't really find any decent games for it - that are less than £20 anyway - and I refuse to pay stupid amounts for a game.

The only types of games I'm really interested in are driving, sports, group games and music stuff. So anyone got any recommendations?
My other question is, can you actually play games online with other people like you can on PC's, Xbox's etc? Coz I haven't seen anything about being able to do this but surely with the internet connection set up and everything you must be able to!

Current: Yamaha TDM 900 (Comfy, light but big, power when needed). Also now a Tiger 1050, easily best of the lot!

Mario Kart can be had for around £30 new, and you can race up to 12 other people online.

I'm tempted to sell my Wii now as in the 5 months we've had it, we've used it maybe three times. I play with the DS Lite far more often.

If it wouldn't cause such an uproar in my house so soon after getting the Wii I'd probably have the PS2 back down from the loft by now! Laughing

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. I bought a wii for my parents and sister some time back, and it's been barely used, because, IMHO, the games are either for multiplayer, or are tedious as fuck.
Pity, really: it's innovative, but just not innovative enough.

If you buying new, do it sooner rather than later.

Nintendo are putting their price up to retail and retail wont keep swallowing the loss on hardware for too long the way things are at the moment.

Yep, Wii maybe a massive seller, but it is also a massive let down and paperweight. My parents bought one last year and they don't use it anymore.

Aye, I'd seen that. Than again watching their sales figures consistently dwarfing the PS3 and 360 combined it's not all that surprising they're going for the jugular.

I'll probably buy second hand to be honest, by the time I've got a bit more spare cash the market will most likely be glutted Razz

Got an awful lot of use out of mine, I still reckon it's one of the best rehabilitation tools I have ever worked with.
