anyone had any experience with continental tyres, just bought a set of contiforcemax's for my bike, just wondered if anyone had tried them out?

I've tried a set of ContiForce's and I have to agree, they are not the best tyre around.

On my Sprint ST they seemed to cause a weave at around 90ish, OK they are cheaper than my preferred tyre of choice, Bridgestone 020s but I would rather pay the extra, well worth it.

If you are riding a ZZR1200 (that is what's in you Avatar right?), then I would recommend BT020s. I'm on my 3 set on my ZZR and they have been great in all conditions.

Thanks for the advice, it's tricky to judge tyres unless you know people who have used them. I assume you think they are "crap" because you have used them and they have let you down in some way? more info would have been better. Yes i do ride a ZZR1200 however i also teach on the same bike and all the bikes i have owned cover huge mileages in the two years i keep them for hence the attraction to cheaper tyres. Smile But i can also guarantee it does at least 150mph so i dont want the tyres to let go just when i want them to hang on! Anyway they are already on the bike so i guess i will just have to live with them for now, it will be interesting to see how they fair against the Dunlop D220's iv'e just taken off. 5000 miles and you could still see tread! (well just) honest! Laughing
