Funnily enough I just looked at the price of the Oxford hot grips, bloody hell they've gone dear. 60 odd quid. Shocked

Most things that are imported are going to be dearer.

The pound has had a monumental fall in value against so many currencies. ie 1.5 years ago £1 = €1.45 now £1 = €1.06 .

Thats a 36% price increase on any imported good from Euro land for example.

Its for the same reason I won't be holidaying abroad.

Interesting that when you change the 'free' option to a battery charger the price is up to £55...
