thinking of chopping the R6 in and ive seen a nice '04 daytona 600 (in yellow).

anyone got one or had one?

what are they like to live with? power delivery? finish?

any bad points?

average price guide? this one is up at £2.2K inc undertray, arrow race system, dyno'd, seat cowl etc

any other suggestions price range looking at £1800-£2300 would be welcome too.

cheers chris.

The daytona is the same as the Speed Four but with plastics and about 15 more BHP. I've heard there quite peaky but the riding position is abit more relaxed than the Ninjas and Gixers I've been on (Just realised I've never sat on an R6!) The handling is supurb and they look the tits, I'm not sure if it is worth going for the 650 instead I have heard they have noticable more torque.

You can have my S-Reg VTR Firestorm if you like.

I've just had it serviced and MOT'd - I have all receipts. New BT 021s. Twin Remus carbons cans. Leather tank cover with bag.

All yours for £2k on the nose.

You're welcome to come and have a look.

Reason I'm thinking of selling?

Got a girl and I need a tourer as we're off for a couple of trips 2-up so looking at a Blackbird or a FJR.

Thumbs Up

not quite correct

the tt600 is the same as the speed four but with plastics

the daytona 600 came afterwards, probably still pretty similar though

i've got a tt600 and its got great handling, suspension and brakes, so i'm sure the daytona 600 has too

It's still the same chassis and basic engine, just different plastics and an engine with a better fuel map.

The Daytona 600 has a highier redline smoother power delivery and a couple of BHP on the TT600 it is still the same basic engine.
