Recommendation for Cheap Honda Parts Retailer

After being quoted £250 for a new radiator fan for my Hornet from my local bike garage, I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent suppliers that sell bike parts for a slightly more reasonable price.

I mean, £250! It's a smegging fan! Not a mini nuclear reactor!

Ebay hasn't come up trumps I'm afraid...

Or just use a CBR600 radiator , if I managed to mount a VFR radiator onto my NTV (then break it and stick a unknown radiator on it) , there are quite a few CBR ones on ebay for <£100.


Oh you were talking about the radiator fan, same thing applies tbh , in that you can take many fans and stick them on your radiator , its just a case of the mounting points which can be fixed with small buts of metal. Again I stuck a CBR fan o my Africa twin as only one of the radiators had a fan on it.

For that sort of money, I suggest you buy any old 12v fan then have an engineer mill you a custom made bracket from a piece of billett titanium to fit it with.

It would still work out cheaper.

Hondas part number is 19040MF5751 for a CB500 radiator fan, which is appears to be the same for the Hornet, NTV650, VT750, NT650 Nighthawk, VT600, VFR400F, NC30, XRV750, XL600V, XL650,

Unless you do a lot of town riding in the middle of summer I'd be surprised if it cuts in anyway.

Mine came on once on my old hornet, and that was when I was doing a burnout in the middle of July.

You could always buy a large computer fan for a few quid and bolt that on - can't be that difficult. Only problem would be its potential lack of resistance to water/crap being hurled at it.
