I considered a CCM 644 & the 604 , which is based on the suzi DR650 engine , should be bomb proof engine as is the DR650 engine (bar oil leaks though this just needs a gasket change).604 is based on the rotax engine from BMW I believe. I rejected them both due to out of EU parts availibility , ie there are Yam/Honda/Suzi/Kawak even in out of the way places like Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
And also the higher compression than Yam XT (though this shouldn't bother you due to uk's quality fuel).
I think they go for a lower price overall as they aren't a big name manufacturer, hell they make them in a big warehouse in Bolton 2 miles away from me and thus their less famous name = less demand.
Kind of like Husquavana or MZ which are fine bikes but nobody trusts them as they aren't one of the big Japanese 4 or European 5 ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. I think im just going to go for it then, i mean How bad can a british bike really be
One question though, how tall are they?
I can flat foot on bikes such as the veradaro 125, xj600 etc but never really sat on a crosser/supermoto, at 5'10" with a normal leg length will i have problems? ____________________ Current Bike: 1996 Yamaha TRX850 (The Japanese-Ducati One).
