Got to stay in today and look after my uncles dog, so decided to give the bike a clean.

Took me about 2 hours, wheel were a pain, but considering i havent cleaned the wheels since i got it a year ago, i eventually got it all off with brushes, auto glym and white spirit.

Anyway, decided to get the SLR out and take a few pics.

Thanks for the comments!

For a black bike it doesn't get that dirty.

The screen is just a cheap longer one i got off ebay, changing it for a different one for summer though as i dont like it. It's too big and ugly considering it doesnt help that much with taking the wind away.

Getting one of these: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Double-bubble-screen-Puig-Kawasaki-ER-6-ER6-F-06-08-dar_W0QQitemZ260374129588QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item260374129588&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Looks better and should have better wind protection too!

As for the white, no thank you, got white wheels on my car which i have to clean twice weekly, dont fancy having to clean white wheels on the bike since their worse than the car for accumulating muck.

Nice job Smile

Did you ride that in winter? If so it survived better than my Versys did! I relied on ACF50, which has served me well on all my previous bikes, even the GSXR750, but the Versys had furred bolts all over the place when I came to clean it Sad

Thanks,

and

Nooooo, i'm not a winter rider Laughing Got a car for that, it was going to be a good weather commuter when i thought i was going to be working in leeds but ended up getting a job which includes a van so its now purely just used for nice weather rides and hopefully a bit of touring come summer. Might get something different in 2010 when my restriction is up but i think a new car might get priority.
