This may have been done before and if so i apologise, i did try search but it didnt want to work on the works computer.

If you could borrow any bike and use it to take one journey which bike would it be and which roads would it encompass ?

For me its the thought of taking a Brough superior ss100 across america on Route 66, that long leisurely ride through deserts, mountains and abandoned towns on what i think, is the most beautiful bike in the world.

An offroad touring bike (like the BMW 1200GS's, but just not ghey), and do the Pan American Highway, which runs from the tip of Chile to Alaska.

That would be pretty sweet IMO.

Just had a look at that route and its a beauty, you would experience so many different cultures, temperatures and terrain on just one route.

On a similar-ish vein, I'd take my XR on the Trans-America Trail. Pretty much runs from coast to coast east-west of North America.

Pan European across the Trans Canada Highway. Including all the disconnected bits on PEI and Newfieland.
