Im after a wireless internet dongle on a pay as you go type deal.

Basically I wont be using it all the time but when in a hotel/train etc makes more sence to have it on a pay as you go deal rather than paying the hotel £15 a night for internet access or for a monthly contract that wont be used.

Anyone know of anygood deals out there?

Cheers

I got one from 3, no contract just top it up when you need. The initial data allowance is good for a year. Cost me about £80 with a decent chunk of data (12gb maybe, can't remember) - I think there was a cheaper option but my BB was down and I needed to do real work so wanted a reasonable lump of data.

This was carphone warehouse btw.

I think 3 credit is limited so you have to use it in the month.

https://www.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/Pay_As_You_Go

"Price per 30 days"

When I looked into it, I found Vodafone the best deal, £10 for a GB, which lasts until the GB has run out.

Vodafone on contract have gone from £2 per meg to 50p per day as of this month!! ok it's only worth 15-25 meg a day but more than enough to browse and send e-mails etc. They dont stop it after the limit but if you do it day in day out they will drop you a text to say...would you like a higher tarrif..but if you use less than 620 meg a month it's fine!!

Ended up with a 3 one.

As it will only be used once in a while, I will just top it up when needed and if its used a few times in that month bonus, otherwise no big deal as its work paying for the top ups anyway.

Cheers peeps
