250 2 Strokes

Hi lads, do many of you have experience of the above. Got it into my head lately that something like an rgv 250 would be good fun for just a summer toy. Are they as much fun as people make out?

There was a thread on this very recently(like last week), do a search.

They are terrible bikes unless you want to do brain out hooning. Then they are great.

Definately only a bike for the more experienced rider too.

For anything else don't even bother. They hate town, commuting etc. etc.

Marjay sums it up better than me, but unless you're going to have one purely as a Sunday toy and lavish attention on it, don't bother.

O and fit some decent powervalves as the standard RGV ones disintergrate and fall into the engine.
