I've got myself some leathers off Ebay which fit like a glove in terms of length, which is great as I am on the short side and usually have trouble getting things to fit.

However I'm rather more portly (a kind way of saying fatter) than the previous owner so I can't get them done up round the waist ! Does anyone know of a place in West Yorkshire that I can get them altered ?

I didn't want to buy new as I'm only going to use them for a track day and then will be getting rid.

Thanks

Leather Man in Bradford - He's up near Queensbury.

01274 570252 (Knee slider sown on and new zips on crotch came to £20).

Had a few things altered there, no problems at all, runs the business out of his house.

A colleague of mine who is a biker (well he owns a bike, that's another story), has told me good things about a spot in Lockwood, Huddersfield , 01484 451736.

Cheers Kawakid, that rings a bell from when I did my CBT at Ridesafe. I think they mentioned him when discussing protective clothing, but I'd assumed "the leather man" was a generic term for someone who could repair leathers Very Happy
